Pictures of the Week

What a meaningful Tisha B’Av afternoon. Over 60 people gathered to hear from one of the strongest men alive today—a man who walked through the hell on earth and still stands to tell his story.

As he reminded us, the Jewish people don’t just survive—we endure, with faith and fierce pride.

Volunteers Needed

Help Us Refresh Our Shul’s Backyard!

Our playground and grassy area play a vital role for our kids experience at shul. Currently, the backyard could use a little TLC. We’re assembling a volunteer team to:

  • Clean and wipe down the playground equipment so it’s safe and sparkling for our children.

  • Spread new grass seed and keep it watered to help a lush, green lawn take root.

Whether you can lend an hour or an afternoon, your hands (and good company!) will make a real difference. All ages welcome—families, teens, and friends included. We’ll provide supplies, snacks, and plenty of gratitude.

When: We’ll coordinate flexible times over the next few weeks—come when you can.
Where: Meet in the shul backyard.
Bring: Comfortable work clothes, and a smile.

To join the volunteer list or ask questions, please email [email protected] or call/text 858 518 6513.

Together we’ll create a beautiful, welcoming space for our community to enjoy all year long. Thank you for helping make our shul a place of joy, growth, and togetherness!
